At-a-Glance Summary

This summary is for convenience only and does not replace the full Refund Policy below. The full text controls if there is any conflict.

1. Overview

This Refund Policy describes how Crypto Melodies LLC (the operator of Profit Syndicate) handles refund requests, cancellations, and billing disputes. It is part of, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service.

Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

2. No-Refund Policy

2.1 Setup Fees

Customer setup fees are charged once at signup and are non-refundable under any circumstance once paid. The setup fee covers Account provisioning, brokerage integration, onboarding support, and the operational cost of preparing your strategy distribution infrastructure — costs that we incur immediately and cannot recover.

2.2 Subscription Fees

Recurring subscription fees (whether monthly Customer fees or monthly Subscriber fees) are non-refundable. Specifically:

2.3 Platform Fees

The per-Subscriber platform fee deducted from Subscriber payments before remittance to Customers is non-refundable to either party. This fee compensates us for the operational, payment-processing, and infrastructure costs of facilitating the Customer-Subscriber transaction.

3. Cancellation

3.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time. There are two ways:

If you cannot access either link, email us at support@pscypher.com from the email address on file and we will assist.

3.2 What Happens When You Cancel

When you cancel, we set your subscription to terminate at the end of your current paid billing period. Specifically:

This means that if you cancel one day after your most recent renewal, you retain access for the remaining ~29 days of that billing period. If you cancel one day before your next renewal, you retain access for that one day. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time within the period.

3.3 Reactivation

If you change your mind during the period between cancellation and the end of your current billing period, you may reactivate your subscription through the same Stripe billing portal. After the period ends and your Account is deactivated, reactivation may require a new signup, including any current setup fees.

4. Limited Exceptions

We will, in our sole discretion, consider refunds in the following narrow circumstances. None of these creates a right to a refund — each is reviewed case-by-case.

4.1 Duplicate Charges

If you are charged twice for the same subscription period due to our error or a payment-processor error, we will refund the duplicate charge within ten (10) business days of confirming the duplicate. Contact support@pscypher.com with the transaction details.

4.2 Charges After Verified Cancellation

If you are charged after we have processed your cancellation and the charge would not have occurred but for our error, we will refund that charge.

4.3 Material Service Failure

If the Service is materially unavailable for an extended period due to our fault (and not due to third-party outages, your broker, your internet, market conditions, or force majeure), we may issue a partial credit or refund proportional to the period of unavailability. We are the sole determiner of whether a service failure qualifies. Trading losses arising from outages are not refundable — see Section 5.

4.4 Required by Law

We will issue refunds where required by applicable consumer-protection law, even if otherwise prohibited by this Policy.

5. What Is Never Refundable

To be clear, the following are never grounds for a refund regardless of the circumstances:

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

6.1 Contact Us First

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer, we ask that you contact us at support@pscypher.com to attempt resolution. The vast majority of billing concerns can be resolved directly and faster than through a chargeback. We will respond to billing inquiries within five (5) business days.

6.2 Improper Chargebacks

A chargeback is improper if it disputes a charge you actually authorized for a Service you actually received. Examples of improper chargebacks include:

6.3 Consequences of Improper Chargebacks

We treat improper chargebacks as a material breach of our Terms of Service. We may, in our sole discretion:

6.4 Legitimate Disputes

If you believe a charge is genuinely unauthorized — for example, if your card was used by someone else without permission — that is a legitimate dispute and we will assist you in any chargeback investigation. Contact us promptly so we can document the situation and assist your card issuer.

7. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under Section 4, contact us at support@pscypher.com with:

We will review your request and respond within ten (10) business days. If we approve a refund, the funds will be returned to your original payment method within five (5) to ten (10) additional business days, depending on your card issuer or bank.

If we deny a refund request, we will explain the basis for the denial. Denial of a refund request is final and not subject to further appeal except as provided in the Dispute Resolution section of our Terms of Service.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by email and/or by posting the updated Policy on our website with a new "Last Updated" date. Material changes take effect thirty (30) days after notice. Charges incurred before the effective date of a change are governed by the version of this Policy in effect at the time of the charge.
